For those of you who may not know him (highly doubt it), he also happens to have been the 2 nd Chief Commissioner after the formation of the Maldives Boy Scout Association in 1984. He came to office after the death of Honorable Ahmed Shathir in 1994 and remained in office till 1997. He also had served as the Deputy Minister of Finance, as the Election Commissioner and also worked with the United Nations in various projects in Maldives.
